Terms of Use
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the I Just Wanna Eat mobile app and website (together, the “Service”), provided by Make It Appen, LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account.
2. What the Service does
I Just Wanna Eat helps you keep a list of restaurants and picks one at random when you can’t decide. Suggestions are for fun and convenience. We don’t guarantee that a restaurant is open, accurate, safe, or suits your dietary needs. Always check details such as hours, allergens and prices with the restaurant.
3. Free plan and Premium
The free plan includes limits, such as a maximum number of restaurants and daily searches, which are shown in the app. Premium removes those limits and adds extra features. We may change the features or limits of either plan, but a change won’t reduce what you’ve already paid for during a current billing period.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- Billing. Premium is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime. Premium Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and gives Premium for as long as we offer the Service.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We can’t issue refunds for store purchases directly.
- Prices. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by country. If we change a subscription price, the store will notify you as its rules require.
5. Your content
Your restaurant list, ratings, notes and other content you add are yours. You give us permission to store, copy and process that content only as needed to run the Service for you, including syncing it between your devices. Your content is private to your account. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
6. Acceptable use
Please don’t misuse the Service. In particular, don’t:
- try to get around plan limits, payments or security measures;
- access the Service through automated means, scrape it, or overload our servers;
- reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it;
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
7. Third-party services
Restaurant search and nearby results come from Google Maps Platform and are subject to Google Maps’ Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In are provided by those companies under their own terms. Links to maps, websites and phone numbers open other apps or sites that we don’t control.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its name, logo, design and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these Terms and the usage rules of the store you downloaded it from.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app (Settings, tap your name, then Delete Account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. We may also discontinue the Service; if we do, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that restaurant information is accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn’t take away any consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the place you live.
14. Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store:
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending and settling any claim that the app infringes someone’s intellectual property rights.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
