Delete Your Account
If you no longer want to use I Just Wanna Eat, you can request full account deletion. Within 30 days, we will permanently delete:
- Your account credentials (email address, password)
- Your name and profile information
- Your personal restaurant list and preferences
- Your selection history and personal statistics
- Any data that can be used to identify you
After deletion, you will no longer be able to sign in. You are welcome to create a new account at any time.
Delete Your Data Only
If you’d like to keep your account but start fresh, you can request data deletion without closing your account. Within 30 days, we will permanently delete:
- Your personal restaurant list and preferences
- Your selection history and personal statistics
Your account credentials and profile information will be retained so you can continue using the app with a clean slate.
What We Retain
In both cases, we may retain anonymized, de-identified usage data — such as aggregated statistics about restaurant suggestions accepted or passed — that can no longer be linked back to you. This data helps us improve the app for all users.

- The email address associated with your account
- Whether you’d like to delete your account or delete your data only
You will receive a confirmation once your request has been completed.
